Hello Friends,
I just love making Memory Albums & This month I have been working on Love theme projects so I couldn't resist but make some very lovey dovey creations & sharing this album even before I finish it!!

This album is a A4 hardbound book made on order for a couple celebrating 10 yrs of togetherness !

The cover page look!

I have put to use the recycled tag I made here as a part of the page as it goes with the theme with a smile & love....roses & butterfly!

The closer look at the roses !

These roses are made from Swirly Hydrangea Die &  Bigger 2 roses with TimHoltz tattered flowers I am trying them for the first time ! The flousrishes are from my new shopping at the Craftshop!

The 2 different roses u can see here closer & The butterflies are die cuts, coloured blue with water colours & glittered...I am trying them also for the first time !

I chose to go with the Mariposa papers(MARIPOSA PREMIUM 12X12 INCHES ) Glimpses inside will share the whole book once it is comeplete

Cousins - friends for ever !!

Hello Friends,

Today I have my latest creations to share & all the fun I am having with the new tools I have shopped for !

These are Good old pictures ,
My extended family is a close knit Joint family so my DH & his sister are very close to their cousins n obsessed with growing up pics as you can see here !

They all are november born esp the last pic you see all the 3 (2bro n 1 sis) are born on 30th November (1980,1983,1985) lil sis inlaw missed by a week & was born on 21 nov! They all celebrate birthdays together whenever possible , the 3 were together 3 years back !
These days they all stay apart & rarely meet up or one or the other is missing during meets!

The occassion was the wedding of the youngest & the last one to get Hoocked so I decided on making a collage frame for all the 4  so here it is !

Stamping wonders with Q-tip

Hello Friends ,
Like I have been mentioning I am trying new stuffs these days & In the list its Stamping today ;)
I have tried Stamping earlier here  but wasn't very confident going ahead with it & seeing such great talents around I was scared to try too...

But like this year I have decided I need to try n I shall so here is my experiments :)

I have tried a new Technique here called the Q tip technique or art!
Q-Tip art is just that…a treat for the soul. It is also a fantastic alternative to expensive materials. Even if you can;t fit craft supplies into your budget, chances are you have a cotton swab around you can use.
This is the simplest design to make with a Q-tip  (ear buds) . Just load your q-tip with paint, push it straight down on the paper, and twist up. It will look like this. (Not even kidding…I bought really expensive invitations once that had a background just like this. :))

Things that went in -

I have used my newly bought stamps, embossing folder, brads , flowers n bakers twine here!

I have embossed the cardstock with hearts from itsybitsy!

brads from diaso (my singapore vacation shopping )

Clear Acrylic Stamps - French Market & bakers twine  from "The Craft shop " .

The second card here I made was inspired from a picture we clicked of my Mom at the vacation, We were in malaysia during the chinese new year celebrations

the decor there was soo lovely & inspiring !

here is my creation inspired by this picture

Here I have embossed n coloured the flowers with stamping ink using ear buds!
 it was fun colouring ;)
I loved this technique of using ear buds to colour..The art is called Q-tip art !
